The Story:

Many years ago, four engineering students started a company at the height of the dot com era. Their purpose was to serve the needs of the college crowd. When they graduated those founders went on to graduate school, Hewlett Packard, and International Game Technologies. Since then CollegeAlley has evolved from an informational site serving mainly college students to a successful consulting collective geared during entertainment, education, and cooperatives within the University community.

In a day and age, where technologists and graduates are caught in the Catch 22 of finding jobs without experience, and gaining experience without jobs; CollegeAlley provides a way to break that cycle.

Mission Statement:

Here at CollegeAlley, we encourage students to voice their opinions about their education, create networks for internships and job opportunities, and promote the collegiate lifestyle of hard work and play. Having fun is a critical part of our learning processes and we strive to go beyond text book material to engage in topics pertinent to the real world.

Often people in education are blind to the needs of students, industry, and the community. We hope to improve that situation by creating an open arena where students, professionals, and leaders can proactively participate. We hope to identify the issues that are most important and forward those concerns to those who can make a difference.
