So you want to watch tv... Campus-wise television reception is horrible. You pick up two channels if you're lucky. The rest are fuzzy and near non-existent. What better way than to have the cable company come in and offer subscriptions? (Extreme sarcasm here.) The good thing is there are no setup costs like the locals get screwed with, the bad thing is the plans are horribly expensive. There's been a lot of change for all you tv viewers out there. For example, if you don't subscribe to cable, you won't be watching your favorite programs on WB anymore. Another move to force people to subscribe to cable. I say get off your ass and stop watching tv. And if you have to watch something, watch it in the lounge where cable is free. The RA's are getting free cable for the semester... we're talking the super duper pack that costs $100 and they get every channel available. (Except the pay-per-view and porn.) Ask them how it is... despite all those channels, there's still nothing good to watch. |
