Forget Burger King, Pizza Hut should be your thing. We eat 50 slices a person per year, and nutritionist are not complaining.

Pizza doesn't have to be junk food, thanks to all that tomato sauce. Tomatoes are loaded with lycopene, a natural chemical that seems to cut the risk of prostate cancer in men and perhaps breast cancer in women. The fats in cheese and olive oil actually help the body absorb lycopene.

If pizza is on your menu, skip the pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese toppings and opt for veggies or lean meat. Even with lycopene, this is one health food that can be too easily transformed into a health disaster. This translates into, this article is not a reason to eat all the pizza you can possible stuff into your face, but keep it in moderation. Pizza is still high in carbs and fat (cheese). So, watch what you eat.

  • When possible, take the stairs; this little trick will help you get some cardio in your routine.
  • Walk as often as possible, and avoid the shuttle.
  • Set a specific time to eat and avoid snacking too much. By setting a specific time, you'll eat less often than if you just ate on a whim.
  • Find an exercise buddy, and start shaking that thang'.
  • Spend two weeks eating whatever you want, and then look in the mirror. If you don't feel like crap and want to really change, then there's something wrong with you…
  • Share your goals about weight gain with someone. That way you'll have some accountability and outside motivation.
  • Don't drink too much. Those beers add up. At 300 calories a beer, four beers are sixty percent of your allowed calories a day. Also, don't give into the drunken munchies…if you absolutely can't stop yourself, eat baby carrots.
