| Thompson Student Services is named after Rueben C. Thompson
(1878-1951), a professor of Ancient Languages, Literature, and Philosophy
(1908-1939) and founder of the department of Philosophy here at the
University of Nevada.
It is home to the Academic Skills Center, the Internship
Center, the Counseling Center, and the Substance Abuse Program.
