| The Palmer Engineering Building is named after Stanley G. Palmer
(1887-1975), a professor of electrical engineering from 1915 to 1941 and
dean of the College of Engineering from 1941 until 1957.
Palmer Engineering is currently home to the Mechanical Engineering
department and an engineering computer lab.
