| When the Mackay Science Hall was built in 1930, it was the top
lab facility of its kind on any campus. It is named after Clarence H.
Mackay (1874-1938), a New York financer and son of John W. Mackay.
The big pots out in front of the building were donated by a graduating
class in the 40's.
It now contains the offices of International Education, Scheduling, the
Center for Aging, and the State Climatologist, and the Geography
department.
