Canada Hall is the second newest dormitory, housing up to 228 men and women. It was named in recognition of a significant gift to the University of Nevada on the part of several Canadian mining companies. Freshmen are not allowed to sign up for Canada. Of all the Residence Halls on campus, only Canada comes with a kitchen. Typically six residents share a common area and two bathrooms. Down on the first floor residents can watch cable in the "PIT" or use the computer lab 24 hours a day. This building is relatively new so no real ghost stories here.
